Brismo aimed to provide independent, standardised data on asset quality to firms providing debt capital to marketplace lending platforms. As marketplace lenders themselves struggled to establish any competitive advantage relative to more established lenders, Brismo failed to scale.
The firm was liquidated in an orderly fashion.
